We’re a father and son team providing nature tours, guiding photo shoots, and providing support for video and film crews in and around the Atchafalaya Basin for over 30 years. We have a lifetime of experience having hunted and fished in the area all our lives.

We are uniquely qualified to provide your nature tour, lead your photo shoot, or provide support for your film or video project.

The Boats

The Atchafalaya Basin is a demanding place for boats. Our boats are double hulled Aluminum powered by Mercury 4 Cycle Outboards. Outboards are used instead of airboats to allow access to parts of the basin where airboats are not allowed and to minimize disturbance to wildlife.

Netting is provided around the boat to provide protection from the invasive Jumping Carp now infesting the Basin.

All safety equipment including the required live jackets are provided on the boats. The Atchafalaya Experience is fully commercially insured.
